The use of the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine for over-65s has been approved in Luxembourg.

Public health officials confirmed the announcement upon enquiry from our colleagues at RTL.

The Superior Council for Infectious Diseases has released its recommendation on how to use the vaccine in the Grand Duchy.

The AstraZeneca vaccine will thus be used for people above the age of 65. On Friday, the state council will assess how much this will affect the remaining phases of the campaign.
