Prime Minister Luc Frieden will travel to Seattle and San Francisco from 8 to 12 November for high-level meetings with leading technology companies, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence, the Ministry of State announced. The working visit aims to "strengthen economic, technological, and scientific partnerships" with key stakeholders on the US West Coast, as noted in a press release.

Discussions are expected to centre on AI and other digital technologies, with an emphasis on how innovation intersects with Europe's and Luxembourg's sovereignty amid a "tense geopolitical context".

On 11 November, Veterans Day in the United States, the Prime Minister will meet a US Army veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge to pay tribute to his service and recognise his role in the defence of Europe.
