RTL Today - STATEC report: Slight drop in inflation in October

Last month inflation reduced slightly, according to the latest report published by STATEC on Wednesday.

Price increases remain stable when viewed over the past 12 months.

The National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (STATEC) predicts an inflation rate of 2.2% for the end of this year. Their forecast for next year states the rate will drop to just 1.5%.

According to the report, the next indexation will take place in the third trimester of 2026, followed by another a year later.
