Three men were arrested on Wednesday and Thursday, one for carrying a knife, the other for breaking into a car, and another who threw beer bottles at other people.

Police were alerted to a car break-in on Rue Kalchesbruck, Weimerskirch, on Wednesday morning. The thief broke a window and stole a backpack from the vehicle. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a second car that had been damaged in the same way. Later, a suspect was taken into custody and arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office. The man was brought before a judge on Thursday morning.

Another arrest occurred on Plateau St. Esprit in Luxembourg City at around 4.20pm. A man was reported to police for carrying a knife in public. When he was stopped by officers, he proceeded to issue threats. He was arrested and brought before a judge on Thursday.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, a man was reported to authorities after throwing beer bottles at another person on Rue du Fort Wedell in the capital's Gare district. Officers at the scene identified the attacker, who was so intoxicated and uncooperative that he was taken into custody.
