His music was known to bring joy and entertainment to Luxembourgish crowds, be that at dress-up parties or the annual Pentecost Cruise. As one of the country's most beloved entertainers, Faustino Cima crossed multiple genres, including jazz, tango, swing, or folk.

Fausti's stage career span over 68 years, during which he performed in bars, cabarets, ballrooms, and even the Grand Ducal Palace.
Fauti was born on 24 July 1940 in Grund in Luxembourg City. One of seven siblings, he was drawn to music early on and joined the conservatoire, where he learned to play violin and accordion. He already started performing at carnival events at the age of 12. He further played guitar and contrabass in the orchestra of Johnny Nimax and Jempi Faust, and was also known to be a prolific percussionist.
Between 1970 and 1974, Fausti cooperated with German music manager Rudolf Strassner, with whom he released a series of albums. During this phase of his career, he created a number of parodies of well-known English songs.
Fausti was always a welcome guest at RTL, where he joined a variety of live shows, gave interviews, or hosted events such as the "Afterwork". Our team sends its warmest condolences to his two sons and the rest of his family.
