After last week’s update on infections within education, Minister of Health Paulette Lenert clarified that four children from four different classes were infected at school. This response came to a parliamentary question from CSV MPs Françoise Hetto-Gaasch and Claude Wiseler.
The weekly overview concluded that out of 591 cases 460 were infected outside school without transmission in the classroom. 173 students were affected by a maximum of two cases in their class, of which tracing could not indicate the source.
The government is considering mobile testing stations that can be put up in schools.
