The ceremony began at 11 am in the presence of Grand Duke Henri, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, and other representatives of court and administration.
Speeches were made by Grand Duke Henri, Bettel, and Chamber president Fernand Etgen.
Musical entertainment will be provided by an ensemble of the military music.
After the ceremony ended, the traditional twenty-one gun salute will took place at Fetschenhaff.
