On Monday afternoon, the government published 30 adverts on GovJobs.lu for assistance in tackling the pandemic.

These were advertisements for positions including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants and other health professions.

The same platform also organised a census of all health professionals in order to optimise the management of the national health reserve. Registration was compulsory until midnight on 24 March for all regulated health professions, but an appeal was also launched to medical students, retirees and those on parental or unpaid leave.

The GovJobs.lu site is also intended to coordinate the call for volunteers.

In total, 2,400 volunteers and 8,100 health professionals have registered with GovJobs.
