The incident took place on a set of stairs in the station area. CFL staff quickly stopped passengers from accessing the area in which the incident took place, redirecting them to use the lifts. Police and firefighters were quickly at the scene of the incident.
The individual was injured and hospitalised, but is not in critical condition. Police are still looking for the suspect, and believe the event was a violent assault. A mobile phone, backpack and wallet was stolen.
