Deputy Prime Minister Felix Braz remains in intensive care in Belgium. His condition is serious but stable, a press release revealed this Tuesday afternoon.

Five days after 53-year-old Deputy Prime Minister Felix Braz suffered a heart attack in Belgium, the government released a statement describing his condition as “serious, but stable.”

He remains in intensive care at a hospital in Belgium.

Until further notice Braz will be replaced by Minister of Defence and Minister for Mobility François Bausch. In an interview with RTL, Bausch explained that “we don’t know how long it will take him to recover. To make a prediction at this stage is very difficult.”
