A person has died following a crash that took place on the road linking Junglinster to Dommeldange on 3 May

According to Luxembourg police, the crash took place in a left turn and involved two vehicles.

One driver allowed his car to enter the opposite lane. The other wasn't able to avoid the other car, which is what led to a violent frontal collision.

One reported dead

Everyone who was in the cars involved had to be transported to hospital. On Tuesday morning, it was reported that one of them has died.

The dead man was a Luxembourger of 79 years old who lived in Bech. He died in hospital of the injuries he sustained. Police say he that his car was the one that hit the vehicle that had entered his lane.
