New record3,287 babies born in CHL's maternity hospital in 2020

The threshold of 3,000 newborns in Luxembourg's Grand Duchess Charlotte Maternity Hospital was first crossed in 2019.

At 51%, slightly more male babies were born compared to females in 2020. 73% of births did not involve a caesarean section. Twins were born a total of 70 times.

The average age of the mothers was 33. The average length of stay was 3.6 days at the maternity hospital.
