In their joint response, Minister of Justice Sam Tanson and Minister for Mobility and Public Works François Bausch provided insight into the respective statistics.

Between 2015 and 2020, 15 deadly accidents and 46 involving severely injured occurred on Luxembourg’s roads, which were caused by or involved intoxicated drivers. In that same time period, 710 driving licenses were revoked following positive drug tests.

51 of the cases involved positive test results for THC.
