Join us on 6 October for the awards ceremony of the new competition that celebrates creative excellence in advertising.

With two weeks to go until the gala ceremony, organisers are busy working behind the scenes of this new national communications industry event set to welcome 350 professionals - advertisers, agencies and media - on 6 October.

130 projects submitted to the jury

"We are delighted with the number of entries, 130, as well as the quality of the projects submitted," says André Hesse, president of the Markcom trade association (and CEO of VOUS Agency), co-organiser of the LeoAwards alongside RTL and Maison Moderne, the publisher of Delano and Paperjam.

"This ceremony is a time to celebrate creative excellence in advertising," adds Christophe Goossens, CEO of RTL Lëtzebuerg. "To reward the best projects and to recognise the collective work of the teams."

The 130 entries were submitted by 23 agencies and 7 advertisers’ communication departments. The jury then short-listed the 45 best entries for the final in five categories: "Image Campaign", "Brand Activation", "Non Profit Campaign", "One Shot/Top Topical" and "Event/Live Experience".

The gala ceremony, which includes a dinner, will take place in the presence of the minister for the small and medium size businesses, Lex Delles (DP), at the Tramschapp in Luxembourg City. "This new event will be organised every two years," adds Mike Koedinger, CEO of Maison Moderne. "We are confident that this will be a great time for advertisers, agencies and media to interact."
