1. Visit the Contern comic book festival

50 comic book authors are presenting their work at the BD Festival Contern over the weekend. Meet the creatives behind the books, get copies signed, and enjoy a wide range of street and music entertainment for children and adults around the festival – full programme in link above.

2. Find vintage outfit gems

After years of digging through flea markets in capital cities, vintage hauls, and thrift runs, the racks of Kleederstuff are overflowing (again), so it's time to let go of some gems. Levi's, Dickies, proper Y2K heat, one-of-a-kind vintage treasures... if you love clothes with a story, this is your playground.
3. See exhibition on human bodies
What: Skeletons, tumours and more

A bit scary, but nonetheless very interesting: This anatomical exhibition presents an extensive, scientifically valuable collection of real human bodies, skeletons, limbs, and organs, permanently preserved using the so-called plastination technique. Special attention is given to the topic of cancer and tumours: various types of tumours and tumour samples are displayed and explained. Come see this exhibition for yourself.
4. Meet local creators and bands at Flow

The start of the summer holidays marks a highlight in Belval: Flow Festival. See a variety of bands on stage and meet local creators at the FlowMuart. All of this is free. Come along for a weekend filled with fun.

5. Watch free open air films in Kehlen
What: Sunset Cinema

Sunset Cinema is back this weekend in Elmen, the neighbourhood of Kehlen, screening Top Gun: Maverick on Saturday and Inside Out (in German with English subs) on Sunday. Screenings are free and take place at the Jupiter car park.

6. Meander through old town at Blues'n'Jazz Rallye

Every year, this urban blues and jazz festival is one of Luxembourg City's most popular open-air summer events, taking place in the picturesque districts of Pfaffenthal, Clausen, and the Grund. Discover international and local acts below the ramparts of the historic fortress.

7. Visit the Mamer night market

The 10th Mamer Night Market is being organised this Friday, bringing together local traders, second-hand sellers, entertainment, and refreshments on the Place de l’Indépendance from 4pm to midnight. Come along to this annual community event.
