2. Picnic on the Kinnekswiss with the OPL

An annual tradition, the Philharmonic Orchestra plays a free show on the Kinnekswiss park. Director Gustavo Gimeno has invited Joyce DiDonato and Chelsea Zurflüh to join him and the orchestra on stage – two golden voices to mark his final performance as the Luxembourg Philharmonic’s music director. Whether you’re a die-hard opera fan or simply curious, expect a performance full of sparkles and surprises.

3. Zipline across blast furnaces at Belval

Belval’s iconic industrial site comes alive as the Blast Furnace Festival celebrates its 10th edition with a mix of heritage, family fun and dazzling performances. Visitors can enjoy a free guided tour of the blast furnace, live music, a kids' play zone, and a thrilling zipline experience across the site. The celebrations kick off early with zipline sessions already open on Friday.
4. Support UNICEF city run cause

Taking place in Luxembourg City, the UNICEF City Run invites runners of all ages and fitness levels to join a fun, flexible event focused on togetherness and impact. Choose how many 1.2 km laps to complete – whether you’re jogging with kids, walking the dog, or racing with colleagues – and enjoy live music, food trucks, and family activities along the way. All proceeds go directly to UNICEF projects, turning every step into real support for children in need.
5. Visit free open air cinema

6. Catch María Moreno's mesmerising dance

7. Party to Martin Garrix

Prepare to be electrified as Dutch DJ sensation Martin Garrix brings his high-energy EDM spectacle to Luxexpo. Expect floor-shaking drops, mesmerising visuals, and chart-topping hits. Kicking things off as of 4pm are Anya, Nosi and Disciples.
