This weekend, between 10am–6pm, nearly 40 museums across Luxembourg open their doors for free as part of Luxembourg Museum Days 2025! Whether you're into history, modern art, photography, natural history, collections, or even beer brewing, there are programmes designed for the whole family. 2. Stop by the BLC's car boot sale

The British Ladies Club celebrates the 31st edition of its popular Car Boot Sale on 17 May at Parking Adenauer, featuring a vibrant marketplace of second-hand goods, from clothes to toys and homeware. Visitors can also enjoy food stalls, family-friendly amenities, and a special MG car display for classic car enthusiasts. All profit from the sale of spots is passed to St David's Hospice and the Autism Foundation (Fondation Autisme).

3. Listen to six strings at guitar festival

The Luxembourg Guitar Festival returns for its fourth edition – a celebration of classical guitar at its finest. Curated by artistic directors Hany Heshmat and Josip Dragnić, the festival features a packed programme of concerts, competitions, masterclasses, and more. A highlight is the rare performance by legendary Brazilian Duo Assad on 17 May at the Philharmonie. Don't miss this unique blend of virtuosity and passion. Most events are free, with gigs spread across the Philharmonie, Conservatoire, and Centre Culturel Schéiss.

4. See play by David Shearing and Luxembourg students

New Beginning is an unforgettable journey through time that blends cutting-edge technology, nature, and pure imagination. Step into an enchanted forest brought to life with stunning video projections by Labmeta, an atmospheric soundscape, and the poetic voice of Michelle Newell. Directed by award-winning artist David Shearing, it's a collaboration with students from Luxembourg.

5. Watch Election
What: Comedy Classics series

In this 1999 comedy with Reese Witherspoon, Tracy runs unopposed for her high school election. However, the school's civics teacher has different plans, so he tells the varsity's popular football player to run for president and chaos follows.
6. Celebrate Eurovision in Schifflange

Fans in Schifflange are gearing up for a four-day celebration of the Eurovision Song Contest this weekend, with public screenings, live entertainment, and special workshops hosted by RTL honouring hometown star Laura Thorn.
