The Luxembourg Golf Federation is launching the first-ever National Golf Days on 17–18 May, with clubs across the country offering free introductory sessions, fun activities, and family-friendly entertainment to showcase golf as an accessible sport for all.
Budding golf fans in Luxembourg, you will not want to miss the weekend of 17–18 May: the first edition of the National Golf Days, an initiative of the Luxembourg Golf Federation, is set to take place at five golf clubs across the country.
Over two days, the clubs will welcome beginners, casual visitors, and the curious – whether with friends, colleagues, or family – to discover and try out this all-around sport, suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Long considered an expensive activity, golf is becoming increasingly accessible to everyone, as beginner packages, group lessons and loan equipment make it much easier to start getting into the sport. Golf boosts physical and mental health, improving flexibility, strength, and focus, and it encourages strategy, concentration. It is suitable for all ages, and a great way to build bonds among families, friends, and colleagues surrounded by nature.

The event will take place at Golf de Clervaux (Eselborn), Golf de Luxembourg (Junglinster), Kikuoka Country Club (Canach), Petite Suisse Country Club (Christnach), and Lux Golf Center (Kockelscheuer).
At the clubs, you can participate in free introductory 90 minute sessions conducted by qualified professionals, taking place at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Additionally, putting contests and family-friendly activities will be available. Some clubs will also provide golf equipment demonstrations, course maintenance machinery displays and guided tours. You can also try your luck on one of the draws taking place, and you might win some free group lessons!
The full programme is available at the Luxembourg Golf Federation's website.
