The Anglican Church of Luxembourg invites everyone, including children, to attend its annual Remembrance Day Service on Sunday 8 November 2026.

Remembrance Day commemorates the contribution of British and Commonwealth troops and civilians in the World Wars and other conflicts. It is held on the November Sunday that falls closest to WWI Armistice Day (11 November).

This year's service will begin at 10.45am at the Konvikt Chapel, located at 5, Avenue Marie-Thérèse in Luxembourg City.

Attendees are kindly requested to arrive and take their seats by 10.40am at the latest.

Representatives from embassies and diplomatic missions, His Majesty’s Armed Forces, and various associations and organisations will take part in the ceremony by laying wreaths.

At 11am, the congregation will observe the Act of Remembrance, a two-minute silence to honour those who lost their lives in wars and conflicts.
