The search for this year's Luxembourg Rose has officially begun, as we get ready for one of the most anticipated events on Luxembourg’s Irish social calendar: the Luxembourg Rose Ball, set to take place on Saturday, 17 May 2025, at Hotel Parc Alvisse in Dommeldange.
As part of the international Rose of Tralee Festival, the Luxembourg Rose Centre is set to host one of the most elegant evenings of the year: the 2025 Luxembourg Rose Ball. Six hopefuls will take to the stage, with one earning the coveted title of Luxembourg Rose 2025 and the honour of representing the Grand Duchy at the world-famous Rose of Tralee International Festival this August, in Co. Kerry.
The festivities begin at 7pm on Saturday, 17 May 2025, at Hotel Parc Alvisse in Dommeldange, kicking off with a sparkling crémant reception. Guests will then enjoy a three-course dinner, traditional Irish music from Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Luxembourg, and a lively charity tombola.
The Rose selection will be hosted by well-known media personality Jim Kent, with Today Radio’s Alice Monnat taking to the decks as DJ – fresh from being announced as the opening act for Justin Timberlake this summer.
Tickets are priced at €120 and can be reserved by emailing luxembourgrose@yahoo.com.
The Ball follows a series of vibrant lead-up events, including a Rose Bus Tour earlier this month. Participants were treated to breakfast with Irish Ambassador Jean McDonald, a cultural visit to the Family of Man exhibition in Clervaux (thanks to CNA, the National Audiovisual Centre), lunch at Les Écuries du Parc, and an exciting evening supporting Luxembourg GAA men’s and women’s teams – both of whom emerged victorious in their tournaments.

The Rose of Tralee Festival continues to celebrate Irish heritage, identity, and global connection. Luxembourg has proudly taken part since 2002, and in 2012 Nicola McEvoy was crowned the International Rose of Tralee.
This year’s Rose Ball is not only a highlight of the social calendar, it’s a chance to celebrate a cherished tradition and support the young women representing Luxembourg on an international stage.
