1 April – Zimmer90 – MUSIC

Zimmer90, made up of friends Finn and Josch, crafts electronic soundscapes that feel like a dream you don't want to wake up from – deep, hypnotic, and effortlessly cool. Fusing pulsing house rhythms with lush, cinematic textures, their music drifts between euphoria and nostalgia. What Is Love went massively viral on socials. Tickets €30.

1 April – Score – DANCE

This piece for 3 performers uses ems (electric muscle stimulation) to send out electric impulses to the muscles of the performers. Isaiah uses a midi piano to control the impulses; there are twelve notes on the piano and each note corresponds to one muscle. This enables isaiah to create a dance that can be choreographed through computational code like a musical partition. It explores the relationship between the human body and technology – where technologies have been developed to simplify our lives, it has also disconnected humans from their free will and cognitive capacities. 1 April – Out of the Deep – TALK

Winner of the 2022 Concours Littéraire National John-Paul Gomez will be in conversation with Nathalie Jacoby and Martin MacInnes, whose debut novel Infinite Ground won the Somerset Maugham Award, and whose second novel, Gathering Evidence, gave him the status of 'one of the ten writers shaping the UK's future'. The third novel, In Ascention was Blackwell's Book of the Year, won the Arthur C. Clarke Award, the Saltire Fiction Award, and was longlisted for the Booker Prize. More details.

2 April – Milow – MUSIC

Milow (Jonathan Vandenbroeck) has become one of Europe’s most prolific singer-songwriters, known for his ability to translate personal subjects into universal anthems. His hits, such as You Don’t Know, Ayo Technology, Howling At The Moon and more recent successes like Whatever It Takes and ASAP, have earned him a global following. Milow’s live performances, enhanced by the incredible talents of his band, are known for their intimacy and energy. Tickets €42.

3 April – Aperinetwork – SOCIAL

Luxembourg's biggest networking night is back .From Italian beats at Peacock and a high-energy DJ set at Gotham to live music at Tender and a relaxed dining vibe at Porta Nova, there’s something for all attendees across four venues. Join networkers as of 6.30pm. More info.

4 April – Dizzee Rascal – MUSIC

Dizzee Rascal, born Dylan Mills, is a pioneering British rapper, producer, and songwriter from East London, recognised as a key figure in the grime music scene. Emerging in the early 2000s, Dizzee's debut album, Boy in da Corner (2003), won the Mercury Prize and established him as a groundbreaking artist blending gritty, rapid-fire lyrics with innovative electronic beats. Known for hits like Bonkers and Dance Wiv Me, Dizzee Rascal brought grime to mainstream audiences. Tickets €34,40, and listen to our interview with him.

4–6 April – Jazzorwhatever!? – MUSIC

Brandbau Wiltz invites international and local acts for its three-day jazz festival, a vibrant celebration of not only jazz but also classical melodies, contemporary beats and electronic soundscapes. 5 April – Schëppe Siwen & The Feelgood McLouds – MUSIC

Kulturfabrik invites you to the ultimate folk punk night! After five long years, Schëppe Siwen are finally back on stage with their brand-new album – their biggest production yet! With three studio albums (Schëppe Siwen from 2012, Sprëtztour from 2016, and Wat Bleift from 2019), they’ve pushed their sound to the next level and put together a killer show that’ll have everyone on their feet. Tickets as of €28.

French comedian and actor Ahmed Sylla has an unstoppable energy. From his breakout on On n’demande qu’à en rire to starring in hit films like L'Ascension, Sylla's quick wit and boundless charm have made him a fan favourite. 8 April – Swimming Kids Days – SPORTS

10 April – Trust Fund – MUSIC

Ellis Jones has played music as Trust Fund since 2012, releasing four albums that range from lo-fi bedroom pop to full-band indie rock. His songs have been critically acclaimed by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and The Guardian, and endorsed by Frank Ocean's Blonded Radio. Has It Been A While, Trust Fund's fifth full-length record, was released November 2024 on Tapete Records. Tickets as of €10.

10 April – La Femme – MUSIC

French psych-pop rebels La Femme are set to electrify Rockhal with their hypnotic blend of new wave, surf rock, and electronic beats. Since their breakthrough Psycho Tropical Berlin, the band has carved out a unique space in the indie scene, fusing vintage synths with pulsing rhythms and a touch of surrealism. Get ready for cult hits and new experiments. Keep an eye on tickets as more are announced.

12 April – City Market – MARKET

Held twice-weekly in the very heart of the city on Place Guillaume II, the Staater Maart has something for everyone: regional, seasonal and organic products, flowers and plants, fruits and vegetables, fish, meat, baked goods, roast chicken, pasta, cheeses, and all kinds of other artisanal products.

12 April – Stoffenspektakel – FAIR

13 April – Lisa Yasko – MUSIC

Bringing together jazz and folk influences, Ukrainian MP and artist Lisa Yasko will perform alongside Arthur Possing, Michel Meis, Laurent Payfert, and Sveinung Nygaard. My Soil is a tribute to Ukraine’s resilience, featuring compositions written during historic moments such as the full-scale invasion and the Revolution of Dignity, as well as iconic Ukrainian songs arranged by international musicians. 15 April – The Wombats – MUSIC

Indie rock sensation The Wombats are set to light up the stage at den Atelier  on 15 April. Known for their infectious energy and anthemic hits like Let's Dance to Joy Division and Greek Tragedy, the Liverpool-based trio promises an unforgettable night of electrifying music. Tickets €40.

15 April – Fat Dog – MUSIC

London’s chaos-fuelled outfit Fat Dog is crashing into Rockhal with their wild fusion of punk, techno, and unfiltered mayhem. Known for their rowdy live shows and cult hit King of the Slugs, the band thrives on unpredictability, whipping crowds into a frenzy with pounding beats and guttural vocals. Get ready for mosh pits and absolute chaos. Tickets €32.

16 April – De Gudde Quiz – SOCIAL

If you feel smart and confident, and your friends do too, the join the monthly De Gudde Quiz hosted by Benjamin and Pol. These questions are like no other quiz! Make a team of up to five people, buy your ticket in advance and if you win the money is redistributed to you. De Gudde Quiz always starts at 8pm and aims to finish around 10pm. More info.

16 April – Youssou N'Dour – MUSIC

Senegalese legend Youssou N’Dour is bringing his unmistakable voice and infectious rhythms to the 'bourg. From global hits like 7 Seconds to his pioneering work in mbalax, N'Dour's career has shaped the sound of West African music for decades. Expect soaring vocals, rich percussion, and uplifting melodies that will have you on your feet. Tickets €60.

16 April – Mudam Afterwork – SOCIAL

17 April –  Faithless – MUSIC

See Faithless return after 8 years away from the stage. They are celebrating 25 years of legendary dance music and paying tribute to their late frontman, Maxi Jazz. With over 20 million albums sold, 10 Top 10 singles, and streams approaching 1 billion, their influence on electronic music is unmatched. Tickets €53.

18 April – Ultraschall Tour Closing – CLUBBING

Various artists from the Ultraschall Collective will be performing at De Gudde Wëllen to celebrate the closing night of their European tour. Get ready for an epic line-up, b2bs and mix of styles. Tickets €20.

19 April – Out of the Crowd – MUSIC

OOTC is coming back in 2025 to Kulturfabrik. For all fans of punk, indie, rock and shoegaze. Line-up features Karate (US), Los Bitchos (UK), Marathon (NL), Péniche (FR) and Waffle Killers (LU), just to mention a few. Tickets as of €31. Here's our interview with organiser Nic.

21 April - Émaischen Luxembourg - MARKET

The Éimaischen festival dates back to at least 1827. One of the most iconic events in Luxembourg's calendar of traditional festivals, it is a craft market that mainly features pottery and ceramics. Among the most popular items at the market are small bird-shaped terracotta whistles known as Péckvillercher, which are sold only at the Éimaischen. Since their appearance varies each year, people queue up first thing in the morning to get their hands on these coveted collectibles. The bird-like calls of these whistles mingle with the sounds of other folkloric activities, creating a uniquely charming atmosphere. Famous in Luxembourg City and Nospelt. More info.

22 April – Joe Sanders – MUSIC

Bass virtuoso Joe Sanders brings his all-star quartet Parallels to the stage for a night of bold, boundary-pushing jazz. With Seamus Blake’s rich saxophone tones, Gregory Hutchinson's masterful drumming, and Logan Richardson's cutting-edge improvisation, this lineup is pure jazz excellence. Tickets €25.

23 April – Vanessa Da Mata – MUSIC

Brazilian songstress Vanessa da Mata is bringing her sun-drenched melodies and velvety vocals to Rockhal for a night of pure musical escapism. From the Grammy-winning Sim to her timeless hit Boa Sorte with Ben Harper, she blends reggae, and bossa nova into a sound that’s both soulful and deeply nostalgic. Expect lush arrangements, irresistible rhythms, and that effortless Brazilian warmth. Tickets €49,50.

25 April – Eurovision Preview Night – MUSIC

Mark your calendars for 25 April as Hal Frounert in Bissen transforms into a Luxembourg Eurovision stage for an electrifying night of performances by Laura Thorn, Zero Point Five, Luzac, Rhythmic Soulwave, One Last Time, Mäna, and Rafa Ela. Free entry.

25 April – Serge Tonnar & Band – MUSIC

The legendary Luxembourgish songsmith Serge Tonnar is presenting an acoustic concert alongside his band at the theatre of Esch. Protest songs, love songs, societal songs and more: Serge plays poetically with the Luxembourgish language, and is not afraid to raise his voice to make a statement. 25–27 April – Printemps des Poètes-Luxembourg – POETRY

The Printemps des Poètes-Luxembourg festival returns 25–27 April for its 18th edition, celebrating poetic creation through the voices of a dozen poets from across Europe. As always, the festival will be a polyphonic and multilingual experience, blending reflection and festivity, with this year’s volcanic theme encapsulating the raw creative energy, the force of life, and the power of an imagination that “turns words into vision.” More info.

26 April – Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Schnitzer Orchestra – MUSIC

Hollywood icon and jazz aficionado Jeff Goldblum is swinging into Luxembourg with his Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. Whether tickling the ivories or cracking offbeat jokes, Goldblum brings his signature wit to a set packed with jazz classics, infectious energy, and plenty of surprises. 26–27 April – DKV UrbanTrail – SPORTS

Sign up now to participate in the DKV UrbanTrail, covering either 5km, 14km or 18km walks on Saturday and 14km, 18km, 27km or 34km runs on Sunday. This is one of the most exciting and definitely prettiest races in Luxembourg, taking you through the urban landscape of Luxembourg City and surroundings. You can also watch from the sidelines.

26 April – City Party – KIDS

Returning by popular demand, the City Party invites teens between 12–17 to enjoy and unforgettable evening of music, dance and party. Organised by the City's Youth Department and taking place at den Atelier. Tickets €5, starts at 6pm and ends at midnight.

26 April – Duck Race – CHARITY

27–30 April – Schoulfoire – EDUCATION

The YEP!-Schoulfoire is designed for Cycle 4 primary school students, final-year primary students from international schools, and secondary school students. It also welcomes parents and education professionals. The event showcases the many facets of Luxembourg’s public school system, serving as both a platform for academic and career guidance and a place to explore new opportunities.
