Faithfully playing in a quartet since the 1980s, Branford Marsalis, the eldest of the Marsalis brothers, is now back with three musicians who know him and each other inside out. The result is a natural rapport between the saxophonist and his acolytes, with jazz that is both obvious and richly melodic. The secret behind it all? Probably loyalty and friendship translated into music. Come and see these jazz greats in action.

Letz Upcycle is hosting free “shopping” days on 8-9 November at 166 route d’Arlon in Strassen. After collecting donated clothes throughout October, organisers are opening their doors to anyone to come by, browse, and take what they need—no charge, no need to have donated. It’s a simple way to give clothes a second life and keep them out of the landfill.

7. See The Sound Of Music in Mamer

It's getting fresh outside, so the perfect weekend for another play performed by Luxembourg's English-speaking musical theatre group: The Sound of Music follows Maria, a spirited governess who transforms the lives of seven children and their widowed father in 1938 Austria, as they face the threat of the Nazi regime. With iconic songs like "Do-Re-Mi" and "My Favorite Things," this beloved musical won multiple Tony Awards and became an Oscar-winning film starring Julie Andrews.
