Welcome to the weekend's offerings! Two different creators' markets, treats at a street food fest, a press photo exhibition and an international choir.

1. Hear Voices International choir

The multinational choir Voices International hosts three Christmas concerts this weekend, all with free admission and voluntary donations. The group sings a wide variety of styles and in many languages, and proceeds are gifted to local and international charities. See the group at the Bonnevoie Church on Friday, Limpertsberg Church on Saturday and Bettembourg Church on Sunday.

2. Visit artisan Christmas market by local creators

What: Festive gifts by local artists

Find unique gifts for under the Christmas tree this year at the Jingle Mingle X-Mas Market by Augenschmaus. Find a curated selection of artisan products, all skillfully crafted by local artists, designers and producers. While strolling through the market you'll be accompanied by a festive DJ set, and have the chance to find a bite to eat or a hot cup of tea or Glühwein, with food trucks just outside. 3. See the award-winning photographs of 2023

An incredible 60,000 photographs by 3,750 photographers entered the World Press Photo Contest this year. This exhibition at Neimenster showcases the best and most important photojournalism and documentary photography over the past year. Winners were chosen by an independent jury. Capturing some of the most inspiring, eye-opening, brutal - as well as beautiful - moments in global history in 2023, these photographs are definitely worth your time.

4. Party to 80s hits

Den Atelier is throwing an 80s party this weekend (to save you from tears and give you something special). Another Brick In The Wall, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Boys Don't Cry! Dance to Never Give You Up, Maniac and more. So get your leg warmers, shoulder pads and neon glitter on, and don’t forget the hairspray – it's for a good (party) cause. 5. Watch Wonka

We all know Gene Wilder's epic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Wonka looks no less fantastic: Armed with nothing but a hatful of dreams, young chocolatier Willy Wonka (played by Timothée Chalamet) manages to change the world, one delectable bite at a time. A perfectly-timed film ahead of the winter holidays!

6. Find winter treats at Remich street food festival

What: Feel good food

Get into the Christmas mood while going on a culinary world trip at the Winter Street Food Festival in Remich this weekend. Pop by food trucks while enjoying live music, meet with friends and strangers, or glide across the nearby ice skating rink.


7. See vintage market in Arlon

What: Another creative market close by

If you're looking for another creators' market with local producers and artists, pop over the border to Arlon, where dozens of exhibitors will showcase their work across an area of 2000 m². You'll find vintage clothes, furniture, original creations, decoration, jewellery, rare sneakers, vintage video games, vinyl and much more. It's just a 15-minute ride from the border and another great place to unearth some potential Christmas treasures.
