1. See (moving) dinosaurs up close

Step into a time machine and travel back 100 million years to the Mesozoic era of the dinosaurs! At this exhibition at LuxExpo, 29 of the specimens areanimated and react to movements and sounds from visitors, and 16 more are static. A great family trip to plan in - just don't get eaten alive.

2. Play board & video games in Schifflange

Various gaming organisations are coming together for a gaming day in Schifflange on Saturday. You can find classic boardgames, newer and retro video games (FIFA, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8 Deluxe), challenges and much more. Entry is free, and there are drinks and snacks on site.

3. Hear Rachel Dadd

For fans of downbeat synth indie-folk, Rachel Dadd's gig at de Gudde Wëllen is not to be missed this Saturday. Earlier she performed at Glastonbury and played headline tours across the UK, Europe and Japan. Her sound is soothing and draws listeners into another universe for the duration of her set. Support is by locals First Mote.

4. Attend LuxCon 2023

LuxCon 2023 is the place to celebrate science fiction, fantasy and horror culture across all media and generations. Join a group of like-minded people for two days of talks, discussions, as well as vendor, artists and hobby exhibitions. Saturday evening will see the annual Geek-Pubquiz and Geek-araoke Party. The similarly annual Cosplay competition will take place on Sunday afternoon. There are also cocktails and food trucks.

6. Hear Benson Boone

Catch the talented 20-year-old pop singer and songwriter Benson Boone at Rockhal on Saturday, who has amassed a massive following on TikTok with covers and originals. His first single Ghost Town was a big hit.

7. Visit Grevenmacher wine market
