We've trawled the web to find some of the best April Fool's jokes of the year so you don't have to.
Whether you love it or hate it, there's no escaping April Fool's - we may have even put one (or two) pranks together ourselves. Here's our pick of the best pranks this year.
April Fool's jokes banned due to Brexit
This editor's personal favourite comes from The Telegraph, who published an article claiming that April Fool's was banned in the UK this year "amid fears of panic buying over Brexit." Written by Flora Poil, the article goes on to state that the jokes were banned under an archaic parliamentary order whereby false reports are strictly prohibited, and issuign them is "punishable by the splitting of an offender's ribs."
We see what you did there, Poil..
No more Eurovision for UK after Brexit
This is the last Brexit one, we promise! The Express' Flora Olip (lots of Floras working for the press, it would seem) wrote an article claiming that the "Paris-based L'Instute de Eurovision Song ... warned leaving the EU could mean Great Britain's glorious Eurovision history might come to an end."
"It wouldn't be fair on the other countries that Britain is still able to compete despite leaving the EU," they quote LIES CEO Vaya Mentira as saying.
Spreadable tea
Always on top of their social media game (they are actually worth following for a good chuckle), Yorkshire Tea chose April 1 to announce a new product - spreadable Yorkshire Tea. Despite being a fan of spreads that may not be to everyone's tastes (Marmite), this would be one step too far even for yours truly.

Luxembourg gets drone radars
This one's in French, as our colleagues at 5' Minutes announced that the fast and furious of Luxembourg better keep an eye on the sky, as Luxembourg will soon get drone radars. Capable of speeds of up to 220km/h, we're sure residents would be delighted if this came to fruition!
No more smelly food on public transport
This actually isn't the worst idea. The British Transport Police published a tweet saying that smelly food is now banned on public transport - and being caught eating "stinky sandwiches and smelly snacks on trains" could land you a £2,000 fine.

Skip the sex on BBC iPlayer
Prudes rejoice as BBC announce a new feature on its popular iPlayer - you will now be able to skip right past raunchy scenes. I'm sure quite a few teenagers would enjoy this feature when watching a movie with the parents..

Drug sniffing rabbit joins the Cambridgeshire Special Constabulary
We're all familiar with drug sniffing dogs (even bees), it seems smugglers now need to keep an eye out for bunnies in bulletproof vests.
