Experience science differently!

The Luxembourg Science Center invites visitors to explore the wonders of science this half-term through over 100 interactive stations. Discover chemistry, electricity, biology, and astronomy in hands-on exhibits designed to spark curiosity in all ages. Families can also enjoy live scientific shows presented in four languages and packed with spectacular experiments.

Ocean Monsters (Ages 6–8)

At the Luxembourg National Museum of Natural History, children are invited to dive into the mysterious depths of the oceans and encounter the incredible creatures that inhabit them. This hands-on workshop lets young explorers study marine life up close while learning fascinating facts about the underwater world.

Pirates All Aboard! – Free cartoons

Ahoy, sailors! From 3 to 8 November, Belval Plaza transforms into a pirate haven filled with sword-fighting lessons, legendary tales, and treasure hunts. Young adventurers can meet the most famous pirate of all tuiime and embark on a quest for lost treasure in this swashbuckling family event.

Legoprint Hallowe'en – Kids Workshop

At the Kulturhuef Museum, children can bring spooky scenes to life using Lego bricks to print their own Hallowe'en-inspired pictures. From ghosts and spiders to pumpkins, this creative workshop combines art and play in a fun seasonal activity for young makers.

A night at the museum

At the Musée Gaspar, young adventurers can take part in an immersive escape game inside the mysterious ‘Gallery of Portraits’. Armed with a torch and a sharp mind, participants must uncover clues and solve the secrets hidden among the museum’s enigmatic objects.

Saturday, 8 November

A morning on witches

To mark Halloween, families are invited to a morning of storytelling and play centred on witches and their magical world. Two tales introduce these mysterious figures, followed by themed games and activities for young children and their families.

Sunday, 9 November

Old-fashioned fair

Strassen’s traditional autumn fair returns with a nostalgic twist on Place Grande-Duchesse Charlotte. The commune invites visitors to enjoy games, music, and activities inspired by fairs of the past, while local associations serve traditional Luxembourgish specialities. The event marks 175 years of the Commune of Strassen and promises a lively, family-friendly weekend celebrating local heritage.
