Lëtzebuerger Chrëschtmaart – Christmas market on Place d’Armes
The Christmas season begins on Place d’Armes as the Lëtzebuerger Chrëschtmaart opens for the year. Wooden stalls, lights, and food stands return to the city centre, with craft sellers, decorations and seasonal treats setting the tone for the weeks ahead. The Christmas tree and nativity scene take their usual place at the centre, marking the start of Luxembourg City’s winter programme.
