Many times going to Trier I never knew that there is a lovely museum in Konz; we absolutely loved the visit. Many cars and motorcycle models but also reconstruction of old time shops and gas stations and even old models of camper vans. Many exhibits are interactive and can be touched by children which is also great stimulation and experience.
There is even a restaurant at this museum but that day we went to eat at another great venue few minutes driving from the museum: the Brauhaus Kloster Machern. Wonderful terrace, gardens, small playground, museum, Wine Bistro, the establishment is very family friendly Or take the opposite direction to visit the beautiful hotel Schloss Lieser.
