If you're looking for a place to entertain your little ones on a rainy day, then Luxembourg has plenty to offer!
Regardless of age, there is something for every child, whether it be a soft play area with a ball pit for the little ones or a trampoline park with a ninja course for older kids.
With plenty of options up and down the country, you won’t be stuck at home tearing your hair out, and you’ll likely even get to enjoy a nice coffee while your children entertain themselves for an hour or two.
Close to the city
Zig Zag
7 Rue Pletzer, 8080 Helfent Bertrange
Open Tuesday to Sunday
Zig Zag, on the way to City Concorde in Bertrange, was my go-to when we first moved to Luxembourg and I didn’t know anyone or really know where anything was. Here you'll find a baby & toddler area, tucked upstairs, and a 3-story play centre for 3-10 year-olds.
It's small enough that you can easily keep an eye on your child, and there’s a café serving coffee as well as kid (and parent) friendly snacks. If your child is old enough to wander around on their own, you can also enjoy your coffee (or crémant!) in the restaurant which gives a good view onto the play area.
Yoyo
105, rue des Bruyères, 1274 Hesperange
Open every day
This place is big – it's a multi-level, multi-area centre designed like a jungle that does not look like it's for the faint of heart but is sure to keep kids of all ages entertained. There is a large restaurant with full bar on site.
Further South
Hello Kids by Kouki
Belval Shopping Center
7 Av. du Rock'n'Roll, 4361 Esch-Belval Esch-sur-Alzette
Closed Mondays and Fridays
This is a small indoor play centre that opened last year on the second floor of the shopping mall, catering to children of all ages but probably best suited to smaller kids. Your child may go along peacefully on your shopping trip if their reward is a trip to this beautifully designed play oasis!
Fun City – Goldrush
33, rue Robert Krieps L-4702 Pétange
"Goldrush" play centre is closed Mondays except public holidays; "The Rock" bowling alley is closed Mondays and Tuesdays except public holidays; "The Saloon" poolhall is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
We went here years ago and discovered it’s not only a play centre with spaces for kids of all ages but also has a bowling alley, a pool hall, and a full-service restaurant.
Further Afield
All In Family Fun Centre

This place is a full-service leisure centre with an indoor playground for kids of all ages, bowling, darts, pool (billiards), foosball, air hockey and a restaurant.
Beaufort and Lultzhausen Youth Hostels
Youth Hostel Beaufort, 55 route de Dillingen
Playground closed Mondays and Wednesdays; bowling alley open daily
Youth Hostel Lultzhausen, 20 an der Driicht
Playground open daily
These youth hostels both have indoor playgrounds; the one in Beaufort also offers a bowling alley. Both have restaurants on site.
Camping Fuussekaul
4, Fuussekaul, L-9156 Heiderscheid
Miscellaneous 1-5 day options
You don’t have to go camping to enjoy this large indoor playground, complete with five-story play castle and air hockey! Kids can also enjoy the various activities that take place in the playground such as crafts, mini disco and bingo. There is a snack bar right on site.
MIGO
2 Kiirchewee, Eschweiler Wiltz
Closed Mondays and Fridays
If you’re feeling left out in the far north, have no fear! Migo offers indoor play for children of all ages as well as indoor mini golf. There is a restaurant about 100m from the play centre.
Trampoline Parks
Ozone Trampoline & Ninja Park
11 Rue du Brill, 3898 Foetz Mondercange
Closed Mondays and Wednesdays
At time of writing this was the only indoor trampoline park within the Grand Duchy. Besides trampolines, there is a ninja zone, aeroball, an interactive climbing wall, an adrenaline jump and a foam zone. Access for all zones is dependent on age. There is a restaurant on site.
KoJump Messancy
Route d'Arlon, 2206780 Messancy (Belgium)
Open daily
This one is just a little further afield in Belgium; it's a great option as it’s open every day and has a huge, separate soft play area for younger kids so if you have a child who is too young to jump there is plenty to entertain them there. Within the trampoline park there is also a foam pit, basketball and volleyball arenas, ninja course, multiple climbing walls and much more! There is a café upstairs that serves as a “viewing deck” over the entire facility.
Let us know in the comments if you have any indoor play areas that you'd love to share with the RTL Today community!
