On 30–31 May, organised by the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth in collaboration with partners from the non-formal education sector, the Children's festival aims to give children and parents the opportunity to discover learning through play and creativity.
Designed for children aged between 0 and 12, the festival will feature around 60 interactive workshops encouraging young participants to explore their talents and interests in a fun and practical environment.
Activities will cover a wide range of themes, including art, creativity, movement, emotions, language, science, and social interaction. Organisers say the workshops are intended to help children develop important life skills while supporting their personal growth and curiosity.
A key focus of the festival is the role of play in non-formal education. Through hands-on activities, children will be encouraged to build confidence, independence and creativity while learning in a relaxed and engaging setting.
Alongside the workshops, the programme will also include short talks for parents and educators, children's activities linked to the conferences, a quality rally and a family quiz centred on non-formal education.
