An extremely vigilant speed camera caught a pigeon flying 15km over the speed limit in Bocholt, Germany. The feathered miscreant was spotted on camera in February, at a speed of 45km/h in a 30km zone.
The city’s Facebook page, which shared the snapshot, later confirmed that a tolerance of 3km was in place, meaning the pigeon was only 12km over the top speed limit. An investigation is unlikely to be opened, but it remains to be seen how the pigeon will pay the 25 euro fine for its misdemeanour.
