Who: Ontario punk outfit - Sum 41 known for early noughties classics Fat Lip, In Too Deep, The Hell Song and many more
The band, forming in 1996 cut their teeth covering NOFX but would in 2001 release their calling card LP. All Killer NO Filler sent the Candian’s into the international stadia and, but for struggles with addiction and near death experiences, the band have maintained and cultivated a terrific back-catalogue.
Most notably grouped alongside Blink-182 and Billy Talent, Sum 41 are a ‘much better than you remember’ burst of power pop, who, not unlike their heroes, Green Day, were, for a while at least, the voice of that generation of (pop)punk-rockers.

Why: Order In Decline, the bands 7th studio LP was released in 2019 and has shown little signs that the band are slowing down any time soon. Their live shows are wall to wall hits and raucous sing-a-longs.
What to say:These guys have really lasted longer than I thought. Fair play, let’s give All Killer a spin again.
What not to say:I don’t think they’ve done anything of note since Fat Lip.

Deryck Whibley (frontman) once dressed up as his ex-wife for Halloween. That Ex is one Avril Lavigne.
Sum 41 derives from “All for One” All=Sum for=4 One=1 Sum 41.
