She has sold approximately 114 million album units worldwide and people most likely know her from some of her more popular songs like “Shake it Off”, “Blank Space” or “Bad Blood”.
Since the start of her career, Taylor Swift has put on over 240 live performances, appeared at 21 music festivals, embarked on 6 world tours, 4 single shows, and featured at over 200 live events, which include award shows, TV show and radio shows.
Her first tour, also known as the ‘Fearless Tour’ was in 2009. It entailed 118 concerts and around 1.2 million people went to see it.
In 2011 she performed her second tour, the ‘Speak Now World Tour’. It included 110 concerts with about 1.6 million people attending in total.
Her third tour took place in 2013, and was known as the ‘Red Tour’, where she preformed songs from her album ‘Red’. She gave a total of 86 concerts, and around 1.7 million people went to watch it.
Her next tour, the ‘1989 World Tour’ in 2015 and solidified her status as a pop icon. The tour consisted of 85 concerts and 2.28 million people went to see it.
In 2018, Swift embarked on her ‘Reputation Stadium Tour’, during which she performed for about 2.89 million people in total in 53 concerts. The footage of that concert can also be seen on Netflix!

Swift has not been on tour since 2018 but this year she came back in full swing with her new ‘Eras Tour’. Her first concert took place on the 17th of March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona and lasted three hours! She performed an impressive number of 44 songs in total, the set list featured cuts from all 10 of her albums. The tour features stunning visuals, impressive choreography and multiple outfit changes to fit the songs! Is there anything this woman can’t do?
An estimated number of 3.5 million people wanted to buy tickets for her concert, but in the end only 2.4 million tickets were sold, breaking the record for most sold tickets for a tour in one day!
Tickets are quite expensive, and are sold up to 1,000$ (925Eur), but you can also find some for less, it really depends on where you would want to sit/stand at her concert.
Fun fact:During her first concert of the ‘Eras Tour’, Glendale (the city Taylor Swift preformed at) changed their name to “Swift City” for three day. Imagine that!
Taylor has mentioned that she will be preforming 52 concerts during this tour.
