Luxembourg City is preparing for a weekend of live music events at the Kinnekswiss, the central grass field in the capital's municipal park. 'Kinnekswiss loves' has become a staple of the capital's summer programme, drawing thousands of visitors to the municipal park for open-air concerts.

By 5pm on Friday, all preparations must be completed for the start of the spectacle. On Thursday, organisers were putting the final touches in place.

Over three days, a total of ten groups will perform on the main stage. Over the years, the programme has evolved well beyond classical music.

This year, the organisers have planned a special lineup for the opening day on Friday, with the entire evening dedicated to DJ performances. The roster includes LADY CARO'ZART, ChiQa, GLN, Hoffi-Zambezi, NOSI, and finally Symphony of Unity – the orchestra of the Tomorrowland Festival.

Classical music, however, remains very much part of the programme. As in previous years, Saturday is reserved for the traditional summer concert of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. Sunday, meanwhile, will feature performances by Englbrt, The Manavelin Collective, and Belgian singer-songwriter Milow.

In 2025, approximately 10,000 visitors made their way to the Kinnekswiss. Organisers expect similar numbers this year, particularly given the favourable weather forecast.
