Writing on Facebook, Laura Merrill said that she was “was given 2 minutes to say my goodbyes before I was rushed out. He seemed peaceful and as I left there was still a glimmer of hope that he wouldn’t be a ticker on the right hand side of the CNN/Fox news screen.”
Sadly, by the time she reached her home her father had passed away. Laura Merrill further urged everyone to take this outbreak seriously, asking everyone to follow government and health authority recommendations and stay home.
