This year’s Siren’s Call Festival managed to attract a bunch of international artists, as well as a good audience. Despite the heat, the atmosphere was fantastic, as people got to enjoy more than 20 bands at Neumünster Abbey.

On the big stage, there were international bands, such as Band of Horses, Catpower and Metronomy. But also new artists, like Grandbrothers and Flavien Berger got the chance to perform in front of a large audience.

Of course, music was at the top of the Siren’s Call agenda, but there were also plenty of other activities. Expositions and performances were on offer. New this year was, for example, the Charleston Workshop, where people could test their rhythm to jazz music.

Several thousand people congregate in Grund to celebrate good music an good weather alike. They didn’t even seem to mind the heat. The organisers were pleased with the third edition of the event, so we can probably already look forward to a fourth edition next year.
