Hooverphonic is back, and this time they’re bringing their signature cinematic sound to den Atelier on Thursday, 10 October. The show is completely sold out but Today Radio has your chance to be there.
The Belgian band, now celebrating 30 years of music, has been a defining force in European alternative and electronic music since the mid-90s. Known for their genre-blending sound that moves between trip hop, electronica, rock, and orchestral pop, Hooverphonic has always played by their own rules.
2025 marks another major milestone: 25 years since the release of their iconic album The Magnificent Tree, which featured the unforgettable single Mad About You. To celebrate, the band is on a global anniversary tour, releasing a limited edition of the album and a new photo book reflecting on their journey from humble beginnings to international acclaim.
With timeless tracks like Jackie Cane, Vinegar & Salt, and Eden, Hooverphonic continues to evolve while maintaining the lush, moody style that’s earned them a dedicated fan base across generations. Their latest release, Fake Is The New Dope, shows they’re still pushing boundaries and staying relevant.
