Formed in Stockholm back in 1990, the band has spent more than three decades crafting their own genre-defying sound fusing death metal with folk, jazz, blues, and classical influences. Their live shows are nothing short of transformative, moving from haunting acoustic passages to thunderous riffs and back again with effortless mastery.
Now, they’re returning with something massive. Their upcoming album The Last Will & Testament drops on 22 November, and it’s already being hailed as their darkest, heaviest, and most ambitious record in years. It’s a full-blown concept album about a man’s final will being read to his family and trust us, the music is just as intense as the story. With the return of their iconic growl vocals for the first time since 2008, fans are in for a wild ride.
