On the latest edition of The Hangover with Sarah Tapp, airing every Sunday from 10am–12pm on Today Radio, Sarah caught up with Amber, Will, and Luke from Art Room (formerly Down with the Stereotype).

Hailing from Southwest London, this sibling-led trio, with Amber on vocals and guitar, Will on bass, and their lifelong friend Luke on drums, brings a melting pot of influences to their sound. From the intricate rhythms of punk and progressive rock to the vibrant grooves of funk, their music is a true rollercoaster of sonic exploration.

Art Room have already celebrated plenty of career-defining moments, including performances at Glastonbury 2022 and the O2 Academy Islington, and the release of their album On The Lilac River, produced by Morgan Nicholls (formerly of The Streets and Gorillaz).

In their conversation with Sarah, the band dives into their decision to change their name, the creative process behind their self-produced new single, and their vision for the future.
