The Out of the Crowd Festival returns to Kulturfabrik in Esch-sur-Alzette on 19 April, bringing a stellar lineup of boundary-pushing artists from across the globe to Luxembourg.
This year's edition continues the festival’s tradition of blending post-punk, indie, math rock, and experimental sounds, with a lineup that promises an unforgettable experience.
Karate (USA) – The legendary ‘post-everything’ band returns with their signature blend of jazz, punk, and indie rock.
Bambara (USA) – Gritty, dark, and atmospheric, Bambara’s post-punk storytelling captivates audiences with intensity.
Deadletter (UK) – One of the most exciting acts in the UK post-punk scene, Deadletter delivers politically charged lyrics with infectious energy. The band are regulars in the Grand Duchy by now having supported Placebo at Rockhal, performed at USINA and headlined their own show at Rotondes last year but they are undoubtedly on of the best live bands around. Los Bitchos (UK) – This all-female, instrumental, cumbia-inspired psychedelic rock band bring their vibrant, danceable grooves to Luxembourg. This will be (we think) their third appearance in the GD and they are not to be missed.
Gurriers (IRL) – The Irish band making waves with their raw, high-energy take on post-punk. Keep an ear out on Today Radio as an interview with the band is in the works soon.
Delta Sleep (UK) – Blending math rock precision with emotive indie melodies, Delta Sleep is a must-see for fans of technical yet heartfelt music.
Big/Brave (CAN) – Experimental post-rock meets doom and shoegaze in Big/Brave’s haunting, immersive soundscapes.
Marathon (NED) – A rising force in Dutch indie rock, Marathon fuses noise and post-punk influences for an electrifying performance.
Péniche (FRA) – Instrumental math-rock excellence with intricate compositions and dynamic rhythms.
Ultranothing (LUX) – One of Luxembourg’s most exciting new shoegaze-punk outfits.
Waffle Killers (LUX) – Punk rock energy straight from Luxembourg, bringing a raw and authentic live show.
