As the bumph from den Atelier attests, Mannequin Pussy’s music resonates as a resilient and invigorating outcry, demanding attention.

Certainly, the world’s music press have gotten their kickers all bunched up n relation to this breakthrough act. To have them play the GD is one thing, to get to see them on a tiny stage at the Rotondes is another thing altogether. Having recently rocked an NME cover feature the band are going from strength to strength.

Through four albums, this Philadelphia-based rock band, comprising Colins “Bear” Regisford (bass, vocals), Kaleen Reading (drums, percussion), Maxine Steen (guitar, synths), and Marisa Dabice (guitar, vocals), has crafted cathartic melodies amidst despairing moments. “There’s a relentless onslaught of intentionally malevolent forces; thus, creating something beautiful feels like a revolutionary act,” reflects Dabice. “The essence of our band has always been about fostering unity.”

Always ahead of the pack, Today Radio, featured their track ‘Sometimes’ on their recommendations back in December of last year.

Their latest release, “I Got Heaven,” (via Epitaph Records), represents their most mature offering to date. Across ten audacious tracks that seamlessly transition from blistering punk to inviting pop, the album delves deeply into themes of longing, the strength found in solitude, and navigating an indifferent and harsh world. It serves as a testament to a band steadfast in their unwavering commitment to producing something ferocious, electrifying, and undeniably vibrant.

Tickets are on sale Wednesday from 11am at atelier.lu. The Today Radio Crew have put in an interview request, because, OF COURSE.
