In the men’s national nine-pin bowling championship, no team could stop Bieles 2000, while in the women’s league, KC Steebrécken 84 secured yet another title.

With their strong performance, Bieles successfully defended their title from last season. Looking at the table, the team from southern Luxembourg collected the highest number of points both at home and away, outperforming all eight participating clubs. Team captain Steve Schiltz highlighted the importance of having a broad squad, which allowed them to cover for absences throughout the season.

One key victory on their path to the title came on matchday 11 against KC Havana, their toughest rival in the title race. Bieles now have a shot at completing the double, but first they’ll need to win their semi-final cup match against Äischen.

On the women’s side, Steebrécken have remained unbeaten champions since 2018. Despite a challenging 2025 season, during which the team was never able to play at full strength, no other club from the top tier managed to take advantage. Club secretary Birgit Grethen expressed particular pride in her team’s performance under those difficult circumstances.
