In response to a parliamentary question, Sport Minister Georges Mischo stated that the Coque's infrastructure is reaching its limits and that a feasibility study will be commissioned to assess the potential for expansion.
The two Democratic Party MPs, Mandy Minella and Carole Hartmann, had submitted a parliamentary question to the Minister for Sport, asking, among other things, whether there are plans to expand the infrastructure of the National Sports and Culture Centre "Coque" and whether a concrete concept for such an extension already exists.
In a brief response, Georges Mischo stated that the Coque’s current infrastructure reaches its limits on a daily basis due to its popularity and the wide variety of services it offers. He therefore plans to commission a feasibility study to determine whether an expansion is possible.
