Following Filipe Ribeiro's departure from the club last December, Union Titus Pétange announced in a press release that Akil Momade will be the new coach.

Akil Momade, who has signed a contract for the remainder of the season, will take over from Filipe Ribeiro and also assume the role of technical director, the club announced Sunday.

In addition to his coaching experience, Momade has previously worked as a scout and manager for several Portuguese clubs.

Currently sitting in 10th place in the BGL Ligue with 17 points won over 15 games, Union Titus Pétange will face bottom-placed Mondercange in their first match after the winter break on 9 February.
