Luxembourg name squad for huge clash against Croatia

It's a very different side to the team that lost 47-20 away in Lithuania. The squad has been bolstered by players with experience and quality.

Anthony Drennan and Liam Carroll both dropped out of the squad in the last game due to injury, and the ex Stade Français men will be a welcome addition in facing the power and speed of a strong-looking Croatia side.

Further additions that will give the forward pack some options are Domenico Orsino and Thibault Tomasetto both adding vital weight to the scrum, along with powerful ball carrying abilites. Gael Pujadas, a very physical and talented player who plies his trade in Federal 1 in France will give options in the second or back row.

Finally, another experienced head who could be key in the way the game is played is Lucas Schmitt at scrum-half. He has played at the top level in Germany for many years and will have an impact, either from the start or off the bench as one of the finishers.

It's a very strong squad, possibly one of the better ones the team has had. Luxembourg currently sit bottom of the table (full table), only having played one game thus far. It is a huge opportunity and one they will look forward to.
