National coach Luc Holtz announced his 25-man squad for the upcoming Nations League matches against Bulgaria and Belarus on Thursday.
Gerson Rodrigues, currently playing in China's second division, is back in the squad following a disciplinary ban last month; however, Holtz did not offer details on the striker's fitness status.
Among the other players back in the squad are Alessio Curci, Chris Philipps, Marvin Martins and Seid Korac. Michael Omosanya has also been selected for the first time since 2022, while Tomaz Moreira (Benfica u23) joins the squad as a newcomer.
Vincent Thill and Yvandro Borges are both ruled out due to injury, while Olivier Thill, Jayson Videira and Lars Gerson were not named in the squad.
The Red Lions head to Bulgaria first on 12 October, playing at 6pm, where they will be without Christopher Martins due to a yellow-card suspension. Next, they'll face Belarus in Hungary on 15 October at 8.45pm.
