RTL Today
After eight years of rigorous preparation, 27-year-old archer Pit Klein is set to make his Olympic debut in Paris thanks to a remarkable ninth-place finish at the World Cup in Antalya, catapulting him to 41st in the world ranking.

Pit Klein will for a first time in his career participate in the Olympic Games, a moment for which the 27-year-old professional soldier has prepared for eight years. While the archer failed to secure qualification at a recent tournament in Antalya, he later managed to make up for it with a ninth place at the World Cup, also held in Antalya.

After beating the numbers five and 16 in the world ranking, Klein surged to rank 41 in this very list, which means that he will make his Olympic debut in Paris.
