
With a personal best of 11.02 seconds over 100 metres earlier this year, Patrizia van der Weken is officially the fifth fastest European female sprinter in 2023.
Making up the rest of the top five alongside the Luxembourgish runner are Poland's Ewa Swoboda, in first place with a time of 10.94 seconds, while Great Britain's Daryll Neita (10.97) and Dina Asher-Smith (10.98) sit in second and third place respectively. Germany's Gina Lückenkemper is fourth with 11 seconds.
Earlier this month, van der Weken became the first Luxembourger to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
