If you're half as excited as we are about Westside Cowboy and their upcoming debut album, It Goes On (out on 21 August), you'll want to catch them at Rotondes in early August.

As part of this year's Congés Annulés series of concert, Rotondes have once again announced a slightly insane line-up, featuring scene heavyweights like Deafheaven, Deadletter, The Bats, Just Mustard, Adult DVD, and more.

But at the top of our hosts' lists is the Manchester-based four-piece who first emerged in 2024 – and who already have two rock-solid EPs under their belt, 2025's This Better Be Something Great and 2026's So Much Country 'Till We Get There.

It's right up our alley, really. Pundits, musical outlets, and even the members themselves have described WS CB's sound as 'Britainicana', fusing loose, American alt-rock stylings with a slightly unsettled sense of doom. Kind of like going out in rainy Manchester wearing cowboy boots instead of wellies, if that makes sense.

Members Jimmy Bradbury, Reuben Haycocks, Aoife Anson O'Connell, and Paddy Murphy met at the University of Manchester after having all played in different bands. Their path to indie stardom has been pretty steep since, having toured with the likes of Geese and Black Country, New Road.

Again, so up our alley it's ridiculous.
