Toronto rock band The Beaches, whos sounds lean heavily into garagey riffs and post-break-up emotions, are slated to hit the stage at den Atelier on Thursday, 5 February. If you’ve been tuning into RTL Today Radio, you will have likely heard some of our hosts’ favourite tracks by the quartet. In fact, our producer Meredith Moss chose their song Lesbian Of The Year as one of her favourites of 2025.
It’s safe to say that Luxembourgish audiences are in for an energetic – and heartfelt – evening. Themes of heartbreak, personal reflection, and rediscovering personal power feature heavily in the bands musical sensibility. But the band’s refined sound, defined by smooth riffs layered over Jordan Miller’s powerful vocals, add to the band’s singular voice.
The Beaches have won multiple Juno Awards in Canada, being crowned the Breakthrough Group of the Year in 2018, winning the Rock Album of the Year in 2022 for their compilation album Sisters Not Twins (The Professional Lovers Album), and raking in two back-to-back awards for Group of the Year in 2024 and 2025. Clearly, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences considers them to be one of the country’s finest bands.
Fresh off the success of their latest LP, No Hard Feelings, The Beaches are now on tour and will make a stopover at den Atelier in Luxembourg City to craft a dreamy, deep-felt soundtrack to your latest heartbreak.
